Few things are as vivid as Bloody Sunday, an event which took place
in Selma, Alabama on March 7, 1965 that changed history
— and civil rights. On March 9 of this year, the 60th anniversary
of that event took place, and while I was there for the event, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride at the turnout, I also couldn’t help but feel a sense of frustration as not a lot has changed since that day six decades ago.
